Cold Spring-on-the-Hudson and the surrounding communities offer many excellent restaurants, regional theatre, and dozens of craft, gift and antique shops. Historic sites, such as Boscobel, Roosevelt, Vanderbilt mansions, Kyukit, and the West Point Military Academy are close by. Perhaps the most inviting feature of all is the natural splendor of the Hudson Highlands with its many miles of exciting hiking trails.
