About the Inn

Start your day with freshly brewed hot coffee or enjoy an assortment of gourmet teas. Add to that some fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and turkey sausage with warm, buttery croissants. If you prefer something sweet, enjoy some muffins and yogurt with seasonal fresh fruit and granola. Enjoy your breakfast in our glass Victorian Conservatory (breathtaking during a snowfall) or on our garden terrace amidst the irises and lilies of the valley. Breakfast is self-serve. If you have food allergies please specify in your reservation, by e-mailing Pighillinn@gmail.com or by notifying our staff. Gluten free toast and non-dairy yogurt is available upon request. Plain scrambled eggs can be made to order due to dietary restrictions or allergies. Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.

The majority of our rooms have queen-size or king-size beds, fireplaces and woodburning stoves. All of the rooms have private bathrooms, two of which boast jacuzzi tubs - a wonderful romantic indulgence or a great way to relax after a day of hiking.

Each room is equipped with its own air-conditioning/heating unit so you can be toasty warm on the chilliest of evenings and comfortably cool during those hot summer nights.

We offer accommodations for romantic getaways, business travelers, reunions, and wedding guests.

Making a Reservation

All reservations must be made online.

If you are booking a multiple night stay but there are no rooms available, you may try checking single night availability, although you will need to change rooms throughout your stay.

We have a two-night minimum on weekends.

Rates include a full breakfast.

Checking In

Check-in begins at 3:30pm. There are no early check-ins.

Door Code

The door code for your stay will be e-mailed to you 2 days prior to your stay with us. If you make a same day reservation please allow 20 minutes for the door code e-mail to be sent.

Early Arrivals

If you are arriving early and would like to leave you luggage, please place your luggage behind the bar in the parlor and feel free to help yourself to refreshments and the restroom located in the tea room.

Late Arrival

If you will be arriving late, please follow the self check-in instructions provided in the door code e-mail or call the phone number posted on the front door and someone will assist you.

Parking

Parking in our lot is first come, first serve. If our lot is full please continue down Rock St. and turn right onto Kemble Ave. and park in the winter parking area. It is only a 4 minute walk.

Accommodations
The majority of our rooms have queen-size or king-size beds, fireplaces and woodburning stoves. All the rooms have private bathrooms, two of which boast jacuzzi tubs. Bella Rose and Mountain Vista do not have en-suite bathrooms but do have private bathrooms located steps away in the hallway. Please review all of the details about your room while making your selection.

The Village
Cold Spring-on-the-Hudson is easily reached from New York City, New Jersey or Connecticut by train or car. This quaint little Hudson River town is home to fine dining, antique shops, boutiques, art galleries, theater festivals, hiking trails, numerous historic attractions and so much more.

Our Policies

Reservations

We have a two-night minimum on weekends. All reservations must be made online.

The card used to make the reservation will be charged for the full amount of your reservation 14 days prior to your stay. If the card is declined we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. If a different card payment schedule is necessary, please e-mail Pighillinn@gmail.com.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your arrival date will be accepted without charge and may be done so by clicking “Cancel Reservation” in your confirmation e-mail or by contacting Pighillinn@gmail.com.

Should you choose to cancel your reservation within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will be held responsible for the full amount of your stay. Contact Pighillinn@gmail.com with any questions.

Changing the dates of your reservation 14 day or less from the start of the reservation is considered a cancellation of your current reservation and you will be held responsible for the full amount of your original reservation and the upcoming stay.

Inn Amenities and Policies

• We have free wireless high-speed internet access available for your computer or electronic device.

• Breakfast is served between 8:30 am and 9:50 am.

• Guests are welcome to dine either in their room, in the Victorian Conservatory or on the garden terrace (weather permitting.)

• Check-in is between 3:30pm and 7pm. Guest must select the arrival time when making their reservations.

• Guests checking in after 7 pm need to make arrangements for self-check-in via E-mail to Pighillinn@gmail.com.

• Check-out is by 11 am. Our late check-out fee is $50.

• All rooms are equipped with hairdryers and toiletries; irons and ironing boards are available upon request.

• The entire inn is a non-smoking building.

• We regret that we cannot accommodate pets at the inn.

• Children over the age of seven are welcome to stay at the inn.

• Gratuities to the staff are always very much appreciated.
